This study investigates the relationship between the theory of the rational soul and its levels and models of human social education in the Qur’an. First, the concept of the rational soul in Islamic philosophy and its role in the process of human perfection are explained. As the rational essence of the human being, the rational soul attains actuality through reason and will and, in this process, achieves intellectual and spiritual perfection. The study then examines the influence of social education on the actualization of the rational soul. The Holy Qur’an emphasizes the significance of social education in the reformation of both the individual and society and presents it as a means of attaining human perfection. In this regard, the Qur’anic models of social education are directly related to the various levels of the rational soul.The article also examines the roles of reason and will in social education and their influence on individual and social development. Reason, as the faculty of thought, and will, as the executive power of human action, play essential roles in the development and perfection of both the individual and society. Finally, the study concludes that social education in the Qur’an, as an effective means of human development, not only contributes to individual perfection but also facilitates the formation of a healthy and ethical society. Accordingly, the process of social education in the Qur’an and Islamic philosophy simultaneously addresses the perfection of the individual and society and plays an important role in the actualization of the rational soul.
