In the current world, the way out of the crises of contemporary life is a return to Islam and the Quran, which ensures the happiness of both this world and the hereafter for humanity. Parenting styles are among the important and determining factors in the upbringing of children in the future; because based on the process of multigenerational transmission, each of the parents repeats the methods they learned in their original families in their other relationships, especially with their children, thus transferring a uniform pattern to their offspring. Today, a new style of parent-child interaction known as helicopter parenting has emerged. In this research, we examined the two styles of helicopter and authoritative parenting; helicopter parents, or overly protective parents, are very controlling and do not accept their children's mistakes, are defensive, and live a child-centered life. On the other hand, authoritative parents show their children the criteria by which to live; they often want to learn things from their adolescent. These parents expect reasonable and measured behavior from their children. It should be emphasized that what is proposed under the Islamic educational method with all its aspects and dimensions; However, in the realm of comparing and examining different parenting styles, the authoritative style can be seen as more aligned with the characteristics and goals of religious upbringing. What is important is parents' awareness of the various characteristics of these styles and their effect on the character and future of their children.
